Spring Air Warranty Coverage

Length of Warranty Coverage

Your warranty protects you from the day you purchase your sleep set and continues according to the “Warranty Schedule” found with your bed set. (The warranty code letter on your law tag corresponds with the “Limited Warranty Schedule” in your warranty card) In the event we repair or replace your sleep set, the new warranty protection continues from the original purchase date.

Warranty Coverage Guidelines
This warranty does not cover claims resulting from

• misuse or neglect
• damage caused by the use of an incorrect bed frame (and, in the case of King- and Queen-size mattresses and/or foundations, damage caused by failure to use a bed frame or bed rails with rigid cross supports and at least one center leg that extends to the floor)
• damage to mattresses due to an incorrect or old foundation
• damage to mattress fabrics due to soiling, stains, or burns
• normal body impressions (1-1/4 inch or less)
• improper sheet fit
• nauthorized service during the warranty period on conditions otherwise covered by warranty
• damages resulting from the failure to observe the instructions set forth in the enclosed Mattress Set Care Guide, under the heading, “What to Do and What Not to Do with Your Mattress Set.”

What is covered under the Warranty
Mattress

• Body impressions greater than 1-1/4”
• Coils or wires that are loose, broken, or protruding through the mattress fabric

Foundation

• Splitting of the wood frame, wood or defective, loose, or bent beams

Foundation

• Your mattress and foundation must be supported by an appropriate bed frame at all times

What is not covered under the Warranty

• Normal body impressions up to 1-1/4” (Body impressions are caused by upholstery material compressions and are normal characteristics of premium bedding. Body impressions up to 1-1/4” are not considered to be a structural defect.)
• Clearance bedding, “as-is” bedding, or floor models
• Damage or bending to perimeter border rods caused by bending or incorrectly moving the sleep set
• Body impressions less than 1-1/4”
• Comfort level/preference
• Bed height
• Damage to the mattress due to an incorrect or old foundation
• Structural damage caused by an incorrect bed frame
• Corner guards
• Sheet fit
• This limited warranty does not cover a normal increase in softness of the pressure-relieving foams or a decrease in the slow recovery feature, which does not affect the pressure relieving qualities of the mattress.

What to DO with your Mattress Set

• DO rotate your mattress occasionally to help maintain and prolong the quality/comfort of your mattress. Body impressions are caused by upholstery material compressions and are normal characteristics of premium bedding. Such body impressions indicate that the upholstery layers in your mattress are conforming to your individual body shape. Body impressions up to 1-1/4” are not considered to be a structural defect.
• DO replace your old foundation when you purchase your new mattress to help provide the proper support of your new mattress.
• DO use a quality bed frame to support your mattress and foundation. If you have a Queen- or King-size bed, your bed frame must have a center support that extends to the ground in order to obtain warranty protection.
• DO use a mattress pad to help preserve the surface quality of your mattress, especially if children use the bed.

What NOT TO DO with your Mattress Set

• DO NOT smoke in bed or expose your mattress to an open flame. While this mattress is manufactured to meet applicable regulations, it is not flame or fireproof.
• DO NOT attempt to rotate the mattress by yourself. To avoid damage to the mattress or the risk of personal injury, have someone help you rotate your mattress.
• DO NOT fold, bend, or stand your mattress on end.
• DO NOT remove the law tag label attached to the end of your mattress. This tag helps identify and establish your warranty rights.
• -DO NOT use dry-cleaning-type fluid of any kind on your mattress. Such chemicals will damage components of your mattress.
• DO NOT place a board in-between your mattress and foundation since this negates the effect/purpose of your foundation.
• DO NOT allow the mattress or foundation to get soiled or in an unsanitary condition. This will void the warranty.

Please Note:
Spring Air is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, which result through the use ofthis product.
